PE’AHI

Pe'ahi is a story by Kai Lenny & Etienne Aurelius about a 12-year-old boy, Dustin, who lives in a Native Hawaiian homeless camp. Dustin dreams of becoming a big wave surfer who can conquer the world's most dangerous ride on the planet: Pe'ahi (Jaws) on the island of Maui in Hawaii. As fate would have it, Dustin meets his idol, Kai Lenny, and together they bring to light what it takes to be the youngest surfer determined to catch Pe'ahi.

My entire life I’ve wanted to be a world-champion athlete, inventor, and filmmaker. It’s been an incredible learning experience and journey to work on my feature film Pe’ahi and I’m really excited for everyone to watch this story.

The most important thing on Earth is art because it changes the consciousness of the entire human race. The art captured for Pe'ahi was worth risking our lives in record-breaking surf because this story will change the world.
